Task Statuses

A task can have any one of the following statuses:

  • Incomplete
  • Complete
  • In Progress
  • On Hold

Tasks that are not yet complete. Any time you create a new task its status is automatically set to Incomplete. If you need to, you can also change a Complete task (or a task with any other status) to Incomplete. For example: this might be helpful when you realise there is still work that needs to be done on a task that you had previously marked Complete.

Tasks that are Complete.

In Progress
Tasks that are in progress. Ideally you would mark a task In Progress to indicate that that you have began work on it.

On Hold
Tasks that for one reason or another have been put on hold. For example: You may have started a task but have to put it on hold while you tend to a higher priority task. When the task is on hold its an acknowledgement that its something you will come back to later.

Note: Task Statuses only apply to Task Rocket 4 and higher.
